Club Information

ICTFPV is a community of FPV multirotor pilots, with a focus on racing. We are open to all skill levels, and welcome any to join. We have a fantastic community of pilots and builders, and we are always looking for more.

We like to keep races casual, but orderly, and we try to keep the racing even and competitive. We race everything from 65mm 1s to 5in dedicated race builds, and everything in between. In the recent past we have really started to have a large focus on Tiny Whoop class quads, and our club has seen much growth in that class. We run a weekly practice for Tiny Whoop class quads from October till March, and have weekly or bi-weekly races year round. We have hosted other pilots and teams from around the Midwest and even as far as the AZRekt crew during our big race Whoopsgiving!

We have been lucky to have access to large indoor venues in the past, and so our courses tend to be large, with many gates, and different sections that are both tight and technical as well as fast and open. We have also been blessed with a supportive local community that has graciously hosted us for events, like Whoopsgiving in late 2019.

We have only barely gotten started as a club, and we have so much more planned for the future. We are honored to be a part of this wonderful community, and are eager to see it grow.

Riverfest 2019 14-Apr-2020   Sue Nunes
Riverfest 2019 Drone Race Event presented by ICTFPV Wichita FPV Drone Club. Video by Sean Jones. Special thanks to Justin Barrow for the DVR footage and KC Multi-Rotors for helping to host. Another big personal thank you to Matt King and John Erbert for being such amazing out of town supporters. Without them we couldn't have pulled off this race and the River Rock Ranch race. Another huge shout out to Jeff West, Brian Jones, and Truc Quach for being the founders of ICTFPV. We have come so far.
